Calling all Skateboarder’s…This mom needs help!!?
I’d like to get my son a new skateboard for Christmas…only I have no clue what kind!! I’ve been looking at this one on E-Bay http://cgi.ebay.com/Zero-Jamie-Thomas-Life-Death-Skateboard-Deck-Complete_W0QQitemZ190346297083QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2c5185fefb before I buy it I’m needing to know if it’s a good board or not? If not can you please recommend one for me. I’d like to keep it under $120.00. My son is 15 about 5′ 6 and weights about 125 if that matters “I told you I’m clueless on this gift”

Basically in those eBay offers, you are buying a good deck and getting the rest of the complete as no-name, and probably low quality components.
Since your son has been skating for 5 years, he probably knows what he wants in a setup. Skaters can be pretty picky, so selecting the wrong stuff could lead to an unhappy skater Christmas morning. I’d recommend getting him a gift card from one of the major online retailers like CCS, SoCal Skateshop, Skates on Haight, Zumiez, etc. This way he can get exactly what he wants.
