Backside Kickflip
A backside kickflip is a mix between a backside 180 and a kickflip.
Learning the varial kickflip will probably help you learn this trick easier, because it is pretty much the same thing, although you are spining your body with the board.
Set up your feet for a kickflip with your back foot in normal ollie position and your front foot a bit behind the bolts at a small diagonal angle. Pop your tail down while brushing your tail a bit behind you to create somewhat of a backside 180 motion. After you have a little pop, brush your front foot up and off the board to create the flip, while taking your back foot off the board in order to allow the board to complete a full kickflip. While all of this is happening be sure your body is spining with the board. After you see that the board has completed the flip, place your feet back on the board and guide it around to complete the 180 if it hasn’t already done so. This is obviously much easier said than done, so go practice.
