Thursday, September 1st, 2011I want to stop riding my ripstik and start skateboarding.what can i do to get a good start?
I feel skateboarding is more pleasing and urban.ripstiking is like some kind of alien sport that no one knows of.What brand skateboard should i use and what do i use to help me learn some basic tricks?also what do i use if i want to protect the underside of a board?
There are plenty of skateboard brands that are good, it doesn’t really matter which one you choose. As long as it is from a skateshop, skateboarding magazine, or online skatestore, it will be good quality.
I suggest not getting those plastic strips to protect the bottom of your board. It doesn’t make the board any less durable to have the paint scratched off. Besides, they look stupid unless you’re 40 years old skating with a banana board in a huge bowl.
