Skateboarding – Bones Wheels?
I am both a street and skatepark skater. I go on terrains that are either smooth or road-like. I understand Bones have their Street Tech Formula, Skatepark Formula, Softcore Formula, All Terrain Formula and Ditch Tech Formula. But after reading their reviews about their technology and what it is about, I don’t think they are suitable for BOTH terrains. Need help from someone who used them before or just wanna recommend! forget the reviews, you need a medium hard wheel like a 85-90, A nice soft wheel will hand any terrain but if you ollie some stair sets a lot or ledges you’ll get flat spots but I wouldn’t worry so much about that. I skate street mostly and park every now and then, using a softer wheel is a good chocie don’t look into the technology of the wheel that really doesn’t matter as much as you think it does, no matter what it’ll come down to hardness not technology. I also use a med size wheel like 53mm to small of a wheel will not be good for street and 53mm is a med size wheel that’ll roll over anything you put in front of it. 52-54 is a good choice for both street and park. If you’re buying bones look for a number 8 or 9 formula.
