how Good will This skateboard be? Help please?
If I use trucks and the wheels from the crappy board i bought at big 5 .. Will it go fast with the Powell bones red i am going to buy and a new blank deck ???
NO!
Those trucks were sold at BIG 5 for a reason… they suck!
Technically, the trucks and the bearing quality are different. But they WILL affect the performance. Your board will roll, but trust me, those trucks will not last. Chances are they’ll crack very soon, but not before they loosen up extremely. Even putting in some good bushing won’t help all that much.
Don’t do it. You want some good trucks that work well, but not too expensive? Get some Tensors.
